However, the tourism potential and strengths of Ham Thuan Bac district have not been exploited properly and effectively, and the contribution of tourism in this locality to the socio-economy of the district in particular and the tourism industry in particular. of Binh Thuan province in general is still low.
On the other hand, looking back in recent times, Ham Thuan Bac's tourism has revealed many limitations in many aspects, which can affect the sustainable development of the tourism industry. A series of limitations can be listed such as: transportation system, accommodation facilities, services, product quality, lack of tour organization, human resources, and local investment interest. for preserving destinations, environmental sanitation, advertising and promotion work has many limitations. In general, the basic disadvantages of current tourism development in Ham Thuan Bac and Tanh Linh can be summarized in the words "spontaneous", "fragmented"; Investment in tourism development is only based on what is available and done in the easiest way, has not been organized synchronously and systematically, and has not focused on the needs of tourists.
